Bridging Faith, Leadership, and Purpose: A Journey Through Ministry and Influence
February and March thus far have been a moment of expansion—of faith, leadership, and connection. As Women’s History Month unfolds, I find myself reflecting on the intersections of ministry, influence, and the opportunities God has placed before me. Each of the moments captured in these photos represents a unique way I’ve been called to serve, inspire, and broaden my impact.
Brave Enough to Be Used by God
The first image is a reminder of the power of resilience and faith. Meeting Toni Collier and purchasing Brave Enough to Be Broken at the Women’s Ministry Conference at Grace Covenant Church on March 1st was not just an event—it was a moment of divine affirmation. Toni’s work speaks to the beauty of restoration, and as I stood there, book in hand, I was reminded of how God continues to use my own journey—flaws, scars, and all—to minister to others.
That day set the tone for the month, ushering in Women’s History Month with a focus on boldness, healing, and stepping forward even when we feel unqualified. Ministry isn’t about perfection; it’s about obedience. And sometimes, obedience looks like showing up, sharing your story, and allowing God to do the rest.
Expanding My Reach Through Leadership
Over the last two weeks, I have been walking through doors I once only dreamed of. Being named a 2025 Ambassador for both Shero Coffee and IVMF Syracuse University’s Bunker Labs is more than a title—it’s a calling. The second and fourth images capture moments from my time at the Bunker Labs Fly-In, where I connected with fellow veterans, entrepreneurs, and leaders in the business space.
These opportunities allow me to minister in unconventional ways—through mentorship, networking, and advocacy for military-connected entrepreneurs. I’ve come to realize that leadership is ministry. Encouraging fellow veterans, supporting women stepping into their God-given purpose, and championing resilience within my community are all ways to serve.
A Legacy of Service and Strength
The third image, featuring my Navy Ambassador recognition, holds deep personal significance. It reflects not just my own journey but the legacy of those who have come before me. Service isn’t just about wearing the uniform—it’s about how we continue to give back, how we uplift those who walk similar paths, and how we steward the lessons we’ve learned along the way.
As an ambassador, I carry the responsibility of using my voice, my platform, and my influence to encourage others. I want to remind every woman—especially those who have served—that their story matters. Their struggles, triumphs, and even their wounds are all part of a bigger picture that God is weaving together for His glory.
Ministry Beyond the Pulpit
These images tell a story—a story of faith in action, of stepping into rooms where ministry doesn’t always look like a sermon but is just as powerful. Whether through a conversation at a conference, a moment of encouragement over coffee, or a leadership position that allows me to advocate for others, I am learning that ministry is wherever God places me.
Women’s History Month is a time to reflect on the boldness of those who paved the way. But it is also a reminder to be bold ourselves. To take up space. To use our voices. To serve in ways that may not fit the traditional mold but are no less impactful.
This is my journey—ministering through leadership, through storytelling, through service. And I am just getting started.
What spaces has God been calling you to step into? How can you minister beyond the church walls? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Let’s keep pushing forward, together.
